How to set up your reporting structure in Seedkit

Seedkit has been designed with the diversity of social enterprise organisational structures in mind. Beyond registering your account, you can interpret the reporting levels of Seedkit in whatever way makes sense to you. Here, we explain the logic behind the reporting levels available in Seedkit.

When you sign up to Seedkit, the organisation name and email address are used to create a Seedkit account for your organisation and are saved to 'Organisation' workspace.
Organisation may have several account users, social enterprises, programs, and projects gathered underneath it.
You can register your Organisation's social enterprise(s), programs, or projects as reporting units in Seedkit.
Social Enterprise(s) registered on Seedkit can be a stand-alone enterprise or reside within a larger Organisation, either as a distinct entity or operating as part of the Organisation.
Programs are longer-term initiatives of an Organisation or Social Enterprise, while Projects are typically single specific efforts with shorter implementation periods than Programs, or may be discrete units of a Program.
You can select or build indicators for each reporting unit and add data on a regular basis to indicators. When you create dashboards, you can present data and information for a single or multiple reporting units across the Organisation or Social Enterprise.
